The Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS6W-BALLSENS) instantly detects trailer tire pressure and temperature of 3-vehicle memories for up to ten (10) tires per vehicle memory. The wireless tire pressure and temperature sensors can just be dropped inside your trailer tires. The Towable TPMS allows drivers to monitor the current status of all their trailer tires, increasing towing safety by allowing the driver to monitor all tires while towing.Internal Ball Sensor
The Tuson TPMS Ball Sensors are automotive-grade internal sensors designed to monitor tire pressure and temperature consistently and wirelessly transmit data to the receiver. Each sensor has a unique ID# to identify the sensor to the receiver.
These are internal sensors that are freely bouncing inside the tire to prevent damage and/or theft. Internal sensors provide more accurate pressure and temperature readings than external sensors.
The sensors are motion-activated and will go into sleep mode when the wheels stop moving to preserve sensor battery life. Sensors may take a few minutes to wake-up. Once the wheel speed is over 12 mph/20 kph, then the sensor will wake-up and will continue transmitting messages to the receiver every minute while moving.
As a general reference, the sensor battery life is about 5 years when driven 4 hours per day. Sold individually.
RF Repeater
The RF Repeater is motion-activated and designed to boost the signal strength from the tire sensors to the receiver (monitor) in the tow vehicle. The waterproof repeater is a plug and play device using power and ground wires to connect to the trailer battery or any constant 12/24V power source for easy installation. When powered to the trailer battery, the repeater transmits trailer battery voltage to the receiver.
Receiver
The receiver (monitor) allows the driver to monitor the tire pressure and temperature of up to 10-wheels for up to 3-vehicle memory selection. The receiver will also monitor trailer and vehicle battery voltage. The receiver has two modes: driving and setting mode. Driving mode cycles between pressure, temperature, and trailer battery for the selected vehicle memory. Setting mode allows drivers to fully customize their trailer tire monitoring system.

Visual and Audible Alarms

Each Tuson Towable TPMS kit comes with designated wheel orientation marks on the surface of each sensor. When each sensor is installed according to the corresponding wheels, no initial pairing is required. Our design makes installation and pairing easy.

We installed on a Thor Quantum Rv so far working great like seeing the actual pressure and temperature
Put these on the RV We drove 6000 miles and it was comforting to see the pressures and temperatures and have an alarm sound when one of the tires needed a couple of pounds of air. I replaced a set of the ones you attach to the valve stems. Those leaked all the time, causing the tires to go flat

I'm restoring a '75 GMC motorhome and wanted a TPMS system for it. I have Alcoa wheels and didn't want stem sensors and didn't want to replace the metal valve stems. When I saw this ball system, I decided it was the right system for me.
The display can be configured for my coach with the tandem rear wheels (not dually). Since the balls are only active while driving, batteries should not be a problem and the spare (#7) will remain off/dormant until tire rotation. Additionally I will be able to take system into my other tow vheicle and I have two additional balls for my Airstream Trailer.
